Four board-certified full-time physicians: Robert Moser, M.D.; Wendell Ellis, D.O.; Randy Fahrenholtz, M.D., M.P.H.; and Robyn Liu, M.D. split responsibilites between clinics in Tribune, Syracuse (Hamilton County), and Sharon Springs (Wallace County) and the rest of the Greeley County Healthcare facilities. They are assisted by a part-time nurse practitioner, a behavioralist, two community health resource specialists, a physical therapist, and a part-time surgeon. Respiratory therapy and cardiac rehabilitation are also offered.
Five practitioners, four physicans and one physican's assistant, see patients at locations in Tribune, Syracuse, and Sharon Springs five days a week. Offering complete lab technologies and a variety of therapy services, the clinics allow patients to recuperate in their own homes while under the care of skilled physicians. Outpatient clinics include cardiology, urology, and CAT scans. Mammography services as well as comprehensive lab services are also available in Tribune. Emergency transport services are available from highly-qualified, certified EMT volunteers. Eagle-Med provides flight-for-life services from Tribune to locations throughout Kansas.
The Greeley County Health Department also provides an array of services for area residents. In addition to various screenings (vision, hearing, dental, TB skin testing, blood pressure, hemoglobin, height, weight, BMI, blood lead, and urinalysis) the health department also provides physicals, immunizations, services to expectant mothers and infants, WIC program assistance and information, child care liscensing information, car seat safety, and school health services. The health department serves as an SRS Access Point, provides education material on a variety of health subjects, assists farmworkers with referrals to local physicians and vouchers, and provides allergy and prescibed injections.
