  Horace, Kansas

Horace

Once a bustling railroad town, Horace now plays host to approximately 150 residents. A quiet, warm town located just a mile off Highway 96 and two miles west of Tribune, the county seat, Horace offers the privacy of country living with the comforts of nearby neighbors.

Like much of the rest of the county, Horace's name was derived from the famed publisher of The New York Times, Horace Greeley.

Several businesses call Horace home and are located throughout the town and the surrounding rural areas.
